This Winter in NYC has been brutal, one of the coldest in history! So the joy of Spring-time with it's sunshine, vibrant pinks and espadrilles is pure heaven to me. Below are some of my personal Spring looks. Remember, the beauty of fashion & design is to take risks and express ones personality!

Kaki West Fashion shoot with Celebrity Photographer John Russo

In August I had the model equivalent of playing in the "Superbowl"!  I was lucky enough to shoot with famed photographer John Russo click here to see his work. John is great friends with my extraordinary publicist and the pieces fell into place for our shoot. John is humble, talented & kind. I remember the entire time thinking in my head just breathe. But my nerves were soon put to rest. As the shoot was filled with such ease and warmth. The high fashion photos have been published in several International magazines. It was a magical day, as we said on set it was "Everything"!

Kaki West K9 Magazine Cover: A Woman's Best Friend

Why do we always hear this expression about us dog lovers as “man's best friend”? Where does that leave us ladies? From NYC to LA peering out of Louis Vuitton or Birkin bags will be a little dogs head. Walk into any park and observe moms juggling their kids & cell phone while having her other free hand clasped firmly to the leash of a dog pulling her along. Drop by your girlfriends house and you will be greeted by the barking of her loyal guard dog. Cheers to the women who love, nurture, protect their babies aka dogs. Thank you to the dogs that love us unconditionally and bring a smile to our faces daily.

Maxim - Today's Girl

I don't know if this means that this is my day? Or a random fluke internet spoof! 

But I will take this day of mine & celebrate whole heartedly.

I started off my day with yoga, errands, unpacking and walking my maltese. That was the extent of the celebration! So enjoy the pictorial & party responsibly!

Video Vixen

I have always secretly been enthralled by rap video girls, ho's & vixens! There is something so fantastically bad about watching those ladies shake it in spandex. It's a car wreck that you can't help but watch. Alas, I did not make the Rap video vixen cut! I will leave that type of video to the professionals!

So here is my best video vixen moment… Haha!!
